Recent titles:

Going Global: A look at Daniel and his ministry (2008): Professor Terry Young looks at how the experiences of Daniel can be applied by busy people in today's world. It is a Study Guide and each chapter ends with key questions for group discussion. So it would be an excellent book to study in home groups.

Serving God's People: Re-thinking Christian Ministry Today (2006): this is another triumph for the commissioning and editorial work of Harold Rowdon. A range of writers look at the theory and practice of Christian ministry today, particularly in team leadership in independent churches.'Some books teach the theory of developing team ministry in a local church. Here is one that answers the all-important questions: "But how do you make it work?"' (Ian Coffey - Moorlands College).

Church Leaders Handbook (2003).
Contains 51 articles by 44 authors, all experts in their fields. The articles are grouped in five sections dealing with:

Whatever happened to the Brethren?: a survey of local churches in 1998-1999 (2003): Graham Brown's detailed statistical analysis of churches of Brethren background based on a sample of over 320 churches. It follows up earlier surveys in 1996, 1978 and 1988.

Fishers of Men (2003): Pauline Summerton objectively recounts and assesses the work of Walter and Anna Fisher, and their descendants, in north-west Zambia.

 

 

Jake - just learn to worship (2003): Terry Young reflects on the life of Jacob and applies it to his own experience in a unique, immensely lively way.
